About us

We innovate the way you lose weight, the way you eat, do sports and even the way you treat yourself. We want you to have a healthy life and more than that, we want you to be yourself.

Our goal

We started this journey fueled by a big dream: to offer up to date genetic tests, so that you can enjoy a wonderful life. Thus, we innovate the way you lose weight, the way you eat, the sport you practice or the treatments you take. When you feel fantastic in your body it means that we’ve achieved our main goal.

Simple, unique and private

The genetic material is gathered trough a nonintrusive technique in the intimacy of your own home with the help of the “mybodyguide” prelevation kit. Once you received your kit via e-mail, all you have to do is follow the instructions it contains and after the prelevation is complete, just ship it back to us. The analysis is done in one of our labs from Austria or Germany at the highest quality standards. We assure privacy and, after the analysis, all the genetic material is destroyed.

After this process is complete, our scientists centralize all the data into your very own and unique body guide which you will receive via e-mail in hardcopy but you can also access the digital version by logging into your account on using the same username and password you used to place the order.

The genetic tests are conducted in novogenia labs, under the highest standards in Austria and they are specially certified for this type of analysis.

A brief history

Scientific progresses allow us today to explore the human genom and precious information for a better life is being obtained from analysing it.

We owe everything to the project “The Human Genom”, a study released in the fall of 1990 in order to identify the sequence of 3 billion pairs of nitrogenous bases that establish the human genome and determine almost 25 000 genes.

At the end of the project, in 2003 to be exact, obtained sequence of the human genome was considered to be a good for all mankind and it was submitted in the GenBank database of NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information), being available for those interested.
